Slaughter fest in TSS --- May 01, 2008 by StPauli

Yah, it’s been a couple months since I updated this but we certainly haven’t been slouching. In the last couple months we have plowed our way through every encounter in TSS short of 1 dragon and took a few detours to farm some fabled PoP here and there. First I will show you our most recent kill shot, because it deserves to be at the top, then after that a couple other nice shots from here and there along the way.

Next up, some shots from Ashengate North. A bunch of boxes!! I forgot to get the one from first event but yah we won =P.

In this next shot you see a great example of EQ loot lists. We wanted something nice ... instead we got a stinky dorf!! Notice the ranger trying to hide behind the box as he checks loot. This disaster was obviously his fault /sigh. I did however tear the shield off bat man’s corpse /grin.

Now off to Frostcrypt 1!

And then some Frostcrypt 2!!

Yes Harfange died here, but ended up lookin’ just like Fridleif and Wulfnor

There is much more yet to come. We have some farming to do now and are working hard on Solteris keys. Come join the fun!! We have spots open for most classes right now. Click on in and check out our sticky posts if you’re interested!!

Some like it cold?? --- March 03, 2008 by StPauli

As promised, AV sent King Odeen home cryin’ to his momma, opening up Frostcrypt raids for all. Let the fun begin!!

Northbound --- March 01, 2008 by StPauli

Gratz AV on another first kill!! I guess we did them a bit out of order strength wise, but no matter. Sothgar put to sleep… permanently… means we're headed north.

Un-Stitched --- February 27, 2008 by StPauli

With deathknell and PoR expansion now taken care of we are movin’ forward into TSS. We have been making some steady progress in ag and flagging for FC. Unfortunately no screenshots of Odeen running with his skirt hiked up quite yet but it is coming soon. For now a picture of Stitch’s loot box will have to suffice

We have a few spots that need to be filled so if you are interested in apping Ashen Vendetta, now is a great time for you to do so. For more information please register to our forums and check out the sticky posts, or talk to one of our officers in game.

Deathknell dissected --- January 18, 2008 by StPauli

Well I hope all of you had a happy holiday season. AV has not been slacking since our little vacation. We came back primed and ready to kick some ass and we have done just that. We took our first step in Deathknell on Monday the 7th and by Thursday the 10th we had all 4 events in the bag. Not much for corpses in that instance but heres some pics anyway

After taking out Deathknell in a matter of 3 raids we went back to working on our TSS progression. As people continue to work on faction we near our ability to get some of these raids started up. We completed the 2nd raid task in the arc for Frostcrypt raids and are well into the final event. No Pics of the king crying and peeing his pants at our feet yet, those are soon to come, but here is a shot of Lorekeeper Udengar face down in the snow.

Happy Holidays --- December 12th - 2007 by StPauli

First off, on the behalf of our guild, let me start by wishing every one of you a Happy Holidays from Ashen Vendetta.

Since Christmas is a time for giving, AV decided to give something to our new friends Suchun and Vergalid. No, we didn’t give them presents like new ties or wool socks, and they were a bit unresponsive to the holiday cheer, instead we gave them something that will last much longer and reflects the good will of our guild. We gave them… death! Gratz to many AV on attaining Deathknell access, a new candy land right in time for Christmas

The Master and his protege --- December 1st - 2007 by StPauli

Well, after only a few meetings, the self proclaimed master, Mayong Mistmoore in Demiplane of Blood, finds himself face down in the dirt at the feet of AV. It was fun but not satisfying enough to quench out thirst for some big wins. We heard something about Mayong being scared of someone named Sullon Zek so we made our way over there to humble her too. We made short work of her pets and it was not long after, that she met the same fate as her master, face down in the dirt. Congratz to Av on working out these two encounters after only a few tries each, as we continue to move right along.

Dirt nap for Dao --- October 25th - 2007 by StPauli

Been a while since we had an update but we are still movin’ right along. Things have been a bit slow but mobs continue to die. Our latest achievement is Daosheen. We had been working on this event, on and off for a bit now, but finally we just said its time to buckle down and get the win we have been toying with. On the night of Oct 18th we finally knocked him in the dirt for the first time. Gratz to everyone who was there and everyone who helped us learn the encounter!

Inspiration --- August 2nd - 2007 by StPauli

On a slow night when not much was up, the AV crew ventured into Theater of Blood in search of some inspiration. We took a jaunt over to say hi to mr Maestro and found his audience was soundly asleep in their seats, so we decided to liven the joint up a bit. How better to liven up the mood then with a good ol’ Maestro beating. Come to find out, his audience was fonder of him then they let on so we had to deal with them in a like manner. After we had dealt the final blow to the Maestro and his buddies we thought we would swing on up to visit Mary-Anne. It seems that she had been left alone a bit too long because she had gone quite Mad. AV fixed her up with a nice sedative and achieved what was apparently a server first in laying poor little Mad Mary-Anne to rest. Congrats to everyone who was there that night and made some fine work of two new events. I forgot to get a screenshot of Maestro but I got a good one of Mad Mary-Anne, enjoy!

Fine Tune - d --- July 22st - 2007 by StPauli

Moving right along in standard AV fashion, another event ko’ed. This time we stopped in to sing a song with some friendly skellies. Apparently our keen performing skills made the master jealous, so he sent in his goons to try and crash our party.... we will have none of that! Our party rolls on! Next stop, to meet the so called “master” face to face.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this win and our current run of fine raiding, and welcome to all our new faces who have helped oil the gears.

Spirits, spirits, and more spirits --- July 1st - 2007 by StPauli

Wasting no time after our first Redfang kill we made our way into tier 2 demi and took a look around. Due to strange spread of lockout timers we didn’t have much time to play in tier 2 but we had one night to go in and beat Tris and Devlin events. We then let our timers reset and the next week we blew through all of tier 1 in one night smackin’ Redfang in the dirt like it was nothing. The very next day we went in and took out Devlin and Tris events yet again and night 3 we took our first look at Roly event and took him and his woman out. Next week we clean up some of the loose points and we get to lookin’ at performer. Expect to see more updates soon! For now, here’s a look at some spirits AV liberated in our very own ass kickin’ fashion.

Red is Dead --- June 12th - 2007 by StPauli

AV is still kickin’ ass, and as some may know, kickin’ ass makes ya hungry. This time we had a hunger for bat wing crunchies and not just any bat wings would do for AV. Nope, we needed to search for the very finest in bat wings to fill our appetite. It may not sound mouth-watering but this little snack certainly tasted beyond compare on this fated night.

There was much rejoicing as we enjoyed our meal. It has been a long awaited meal at that and the victory tasted very good. Next on our menu hero sandwiches and wolf patties served up with plenty of accursed blood wine while we listen to the finest of barding a skelly can perform.

Speaking of bards, Steelhammer made a promise to the guild that if we win he would post a pic of Choral naked. I'm not sure where he got this picture, but being a man of his word, here it is folks, enjoy!!

Click to reveal!! WARNING: this is highly graphic!!!

Tourtured --- February 20th - 2007 by Steelhammer

Not much to say... AV is too busy kicking ass in Demiplane. Our latest victim was this chump, don't let the big axe scare ya.

Bug Zapper --- January 17th - 2007 by StPauli

With everyone back from their holiday vacations AV has wasted no time. A few warm up runs to clear out the cobwebs and get the electricity flowing and then on the night of Jan 15th we turned on the juice to the big bug zapper and we caught us a queen sized spider. Unfortunately the rest of her children came in a hurry and overloaded our bug zapper, but we weren’t about to let that stand. We cleaned out the all the nasty stuff and flipped on that switch again on the night of the 16th. The Queen came home to find 51 of her dreaded enemies waiting with their bug squashing boots on. She put up some resistance but this time we had the zapper up on full blast and we weren’t going to take no for an answer.

This time not even her horde could save the hive from AV!

Better late then never --- January 04th - 2007 by StPauli

OK, OK, So it’s been a little while since we updated the front page. Doesn’t mean we have slowed down any, we just needed a little time to slack =P. Seriously though we have been kickin’ much ass, despite the holidays, and getting closer to our next goal. 1 fight away in fact, and gaining ground on a difficult encounter. Expect to see a pic of the Queen’s severed head on this page soon!!

Here are a few highlights of our last couple months.

And lots of this, with as few as 35!!

Several other mobs have met their demise at the hands of AV in the past few months, Porthio, Bloodeye and Shyra several extra times, and lots of CoA to get the tidbits we still need. We have also set everyone in the guild up with their 2.0, save a few who were MIA. Holiday seasons are generally rough on attendance but we didn’t let it get the better of us and kept on charging ahead, with a few stops to farm. Now with the holidays behind us we have a clear path to put some hurt on demi and beyind.

We are always looking for more folks, especially any of the priest classes. Come join the fun.

And in closing let me leave you with a word of advice... Watch out for them orbs! They eat dorfs!!!

Another one bites the dust --- August 28th - 2006 by Steelhammer

Not much to say here, we do mobs the old fashioned way.... wipe and learn, wipe and learn, wipe and learn. Then on some magical night when it all comes together...

Congratulations to my guildmates. We really wanted to get this one out of the way before the new expansion. We didn't want to be saddled with "sure you beat it.... after getting 5 more levels and new spells". This was a really tough fight, but one that most of us loved every time we did it. Now it's time to work it into farm status.Martha get out the tractor and my overalls!

We are always looking for more folks, especially any of the 3 priest classes. Come join the fun.

Up next... --- April 24th - 2006 by Steelhammer

Up next on our target list...

Stay tuned.

As the orb turns... --- March 2nd - 2006 by Steelhammer

Ashen Vendetta would like to congratulate StPauli on the first Epic 2.0 for the guild!

Well deserved!

After a nasty and long round of recruiting/re-flagging Ashen Vendetta is once again stomping around in the Fortress of Solitude (aka.. Citadel of Anguish) like we own the place. I for one would just like to say... it's good to be back. After doing the Specialization trial for what seemed like the millionth time, things finally clicked and we KTFO'd the mob with only 2 deaths.

It's funny, looking back on this trial, the first time we did it we won without much trouble or preparation at all... we didnt have a full raid and we didnt even expect to win... but we did. On this round of reflagging this trial was becoming my personal albatross, we just couldn't seem to get things in synch for the win. I was beginning to lose hope. Tuesday night though my guildmates dug a little deeper, after a couple weeks of waiting we were all tired of this trial, I made promises to my guildmates that I wont disclose here... lets just say baby oil, woodland creatures and pop rocks are involved... but I digress. The point is we came through.

After the win spirits were high and the Asskicking wasnt anywhere near done for the evening, no good readers... we were just getting started. We moved into the Fortress of Solitude and started clearing house with a vengance... no, a Vendetta. Chaos Incorporated was back and ready to make some noise. We started off by stomping a muddhole in Tures a$$, and then moved on to see the Warden, killing everything along the way. Ture was old hat for us but the Warden was some new hotness that we hadn't faced before. We left a splatter mark and not much else.

Make no mistake, Chaos Incorporated has been dormant for a while, but we are up and moving again. We only move in 1 direction and that's forward. Get out the tractor and my overalls Ethel, it's farm time.

And the beat goes on...

One Seal to Rule them All... --- October 18th - 2005 by Tragas

Hrm... it's 10-18... Not a good number normally. Remember when 1018 meant that you were @!#$@ for the next 10 to 18 minutes? I do. But incase you forgot:

Well, 10-18 was a good day for Ashen Vendetta. Trial of Endurance: owned.

So after some fine tuning we got Endurance down. It was quite a satisfying victory, given that we'd spent so much time working on it. So when the Ancients in the trial went down, a great deal of folks got this:

Though I, being the slacker that I am missed Foresight, but that was okay, because after owning Endurance, we owned Foresight again next.

Inc cheesy LotR parody!

One Seal to Rule them all, one Seal to find them. One seal to bring them all, and in the Citadel of Anguish, bind them.

Epic 2.0's, here we come!

Behold, the Citadel of Anguish:

Because it's a good place for it~

Make the bad man stop! --- September 27th - 2005 by Tragas

Well, it's been a while since I've updated the 'ol webpage, but I shall cease slacking for a moment to take the time to do so now.

Lately, Ashen Vendetta has been enjoying the spoils of Tacvi and Yar`Lir, but tonight we decided to try some different stuff, and made our way to Muramite Proving Grounds and did some trials. End result is that Ashen Vendetta is now 1/3rd of the way to Anguish in one evening, and it wont be long until we'll be farming there too.

The Master of Hatred goes down and becomes Ashen's first MPG raid victory!

So, after we completed the Mastery of Mind, we decided our rogues needed daggers and made our way to Realms to lay waste to Adaptation. I'd say we adapted fairly well.

Not the most glorious picture, I know... but you get the idea!

Yay for runes!

Also I have a message to you sick sons of bitches that decided what Innoruuk and Kessdona were going to drop for us: After over a dozen time clearings since we reformed we got not a single Jagged Time Forged Blade. After nearly 20 Kessdona clearings we got 1 Fang, which was months ago. Whoever you are, fuck you. I hope Tryol and Mindori stick their new Soulskives in your back and make you suffer before you die, jackass!

And now for some other randomness:

Do I need a reason?

An End to the Storms in the Seat of the Slaver --- August 30th - 2005 by Tragas

Last night was a night of victory for Ashen Vendetta, as we successfuly brought down Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk and Yar`Lir the Matriarch that changes names.

Big props to everyone that took part in the fight last night (I was slacking and logged in late, just as he was down to 40ish~). Ashen Vendetta has spent a lot of time in Txevu learning this encounter, and finally our presistance and drive has paid off with access to Tacvi, the Seat of the Slaver.

This just in: a decent picture of the dead Zun~ Indeed, victory is truly ours with a naked Frostfyre to boot!

Then, after our victory over the Muramites in Txevu, we shifted gears and made our way towards Thundercrest Isles and brought down Yar`Lir.

Blue Dragon needs food badly! Blue Dragon is about to die! (Insert Coin!)

Yar`Lir: "Potatowned" as Master Samwise would say

So, a dead Muramite and a dead dragon makes for a good night for AV - with plenty more ass kicking coming soon!

Another great shot of Yar`Lir for good measure

Also, during the Yar`Lir fight, our hobbit detective Rykie was on the look out for saboteurs, and the evil paladin's secret plot was discovered. However, the angry dwarves quickly put down the rebellion.

That's no ordinary goat! --- August 3rd - 2005 by Tragas

Well, I know I said last update that I'd have Uvavu's corpse on here, but unfortunately he's been doing the killing instead of being killed... Hah! Foiled your plans again, evil sorcerer! Er, wait...

He got this here goat:

And this poor monk with the yellow Camaro:

So, as you can see we've been hanging out in Txevu lately, we got the High Priest the other night as well, so just Tkarish stands between Ashen Vendetta and Tacvi, and we learned a good bit about him tonight. It wont be long now!

But! We've been doing other stuff aside from being violated by, and killing, angry goats in Txevu. We've also been doing the normal fun-times, like dragon slaying. We've been working on a new dragon for us too, this one:

While this isn't our best attempt at her, it is still an awesome shot of her (notice how she's going to devour that d0rf laying on the floor there, slacking!) So anyway, stay tuned for more!

Lair of the Elite --- July 1st - 2005 by Tragas

So as I'm sure you all know, I'm a slacker and only update the front page when the rest of the guild bugs me to do so.. and so here's the update:

The other day Noqufiel got knocked the fuck out by Ashen Vendetta, granting us access to Txevu (Zeh-voo), the Lair of the Elites... impressive name I know, but we'll see just how elite stuff is in there real soon. I'm sure the designers were thinking, "Hey I know, let's make up some weird and nearly unpronounceable names for these zones and give them cool subtitles!". Anyway, that's an old rant, enough of that...

Inktu`ta is my new favorite zone. Talk about some crazy events in there - but hey, I wont argue with free loot! Noqufiel was especially fun, up until someone slacked and I got death touched at 0%... so Ferreus was kind enough to provide the above screen shot for your viewing pleasure.

I promise I'll have a more interesting picture up here next week... Like Uvavu's corpse... that hasn't made the front page in a long time! ;(

God can't save the Queen, damn it! --- June 7th - 2005 by Tragas

So, now that Kessdona and Rikkukin are farm status, we decided to go try something new. The Queen in Riftseeker's Sanctum seemed like a good target.

We gathered our forces and marched into the crystaline tower and unleashed hell. First attempt at the Queen got her to 2% health. It was close, but we know she was toast next time. Second try we got her - potatowned as Master Samwise would say.

I have to say, our healing team has come a long way since we started reflagging for Time. They were really on form last night, and it showed.

Expect to see the King's corpse on this webpage shortly, as well.

Potatowned! --- June 1st - 2005 by Tragas

Well, it's been a while since we've updated the webpage, but that doesn't mean we've been sitting around doing nothing. We've been quite busy. So far The Nameless has been an interesting server, but we've been kicking ass here just the same as we did on Innoruuk.

So anyway, I like pictures (don't you?), so here's quick recap of what's been going on with us:

This guy (gal) had been giving us some trouble, but now she's dead. We also got the Stonemite Ring while we were there. Weirdness.

Oh, we've also been killing my favorite creatures: Dragons. Kessdona and Rikkukin both have gone splat by Ashen Vendetta

Not very glorious pictures I know, but Less, our new guild photographer (and scape goat) got a good one of Rikkukin.

Kessdona looks about the same as Rikkukin, just imagine that the dragon is gold instead of platinum.
